American Patient Underwent Surgery at Atakent Cihan Hospital

<p><strong>A.S.J., an American citizen working in a high-level company in Kocaeli, was successfully operated by Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Tosun at Atakent Cihan Hospital, where he applied due to his persistent pain. </strong></p> <p>A.S.J., 45 years old, had been in Kocaeli for a while for his work. For a long time, he had been suffering from chronic pain radiating to his lower back and buttocks, with intermittent recurrences. Upon this, the patient applied to Private Atakent Hospital and was examined by Orthopedics and Traumatology Specialist Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Tosun. An MRI scan showed degenerative changes in the disc space and stenosis of the spinal canal and surgical intervention was recommended.</p> <p>The patient accepted the recommended treatment and underwent surgical decompression of the spinal canal and fusion surgery at the L5-S1 level.
