TECAR Therapy

<p>Tecar therapy, TR-therapy (Targeted Radiofrequency Therapy), focused radiofrequency therapy, is a newly introduced method in physical therapy programs<em>. </em>Focused radiofrequency therapy is a unique new treatment concept shaped by a combination of the effects of the application and the manual skills of the physiotherapist.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <h2>What are TECAR Therapy Mechanisms of Action?</h2> <p>This method aims to create hyperthermia in deep tissue by transferring high-frequency electromagnetic energy. This method produces fast and effective pain relief, muscle relaxation and anti-edema effects. It can be used in soft tissue traumas, especially in sports injuries, muscle, tendon and ligament injuries, joint degenerations, neck, back and waist problems, nerve compression and postoperative recovery period. Although the duration of application varies from patient to patient, it is sufficient to apply 5-10 sessions 2-3 times a week.
